Horizon Science Academy is hosting a Summer Community Event on June 30th from 10 am to 1 pm at Horizon Middle School, located at 2350 Morse Rd. This event is open to the public and features a variety of family-friendly activities, including games, crafts, music, and student performances. Attendees can enjoy free food from vendors like Sunny Street Cafe and Bella’s Catering, and participate in a raffle for various prizes. The academy will also provide school supplies and uniform vouchers during the event. Beyond the fun and games, this is an opportunity for families to learn more about Horizon Science Academy's open enrollment and its STEM-focused, college-prep programs, which include competitive sports and robotics. Several community partners will be on-site, including Grand Canyon University and St. Stephen Community House, and there will even be Clydesdale horses for visitors to see.
